Crocheted Bedroom Shoes

Now please be ready to make this twice,,, as you might have to fix it here
and there! I can't remember exactly but I think I used a F hook... and that
lion brand yarn....

•Rnd 1: Ch 8, 2 hdc in 3rd ch from hook, hdc in next 4 ch, 5 hdc in last ch:
working on the opposite side of ch, hdc in next 4 ch, 3 hdc in same ch as
first hdc, join with sl st in top of ch 2 (19 in all).

•Rnd 2: Ch 2, hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each of next 2 sts, hdc in next 4 sts,
2 hdc in each of next 5 sts, hdc in next 4 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 3 sts,
join as before (30).

•Rnd 3: Working this Rnd in the back loops, ch 2, hdc in each st around, join.

•Rnd 4: Ch 2, hdc in next 22 sts, (hdc next 2 sts tog) 5 times, hdc in last 8
sts, join (25).

•Rnd 5: Chain 1, sc in first 10 sts, hdc in next st, hdc next 2 sts tog, hdc
next 3 sts together, hdc next 2 sts tog, hdc in next st, sc in last 6 sts,
join with a sl st in first sc (21)

•Rnd 6: Ch 3, (skip next st, hdc in next st, chain 1) around, join with sl st
in 2nd ch of ch 3 (11 hdc).

•Rnd 7: Sl st in first ch sp, ch 2 , hdc in same sp, 3 hdc in each ch sp
around, join (32).

•Rnd 8: Ch 2, hdc in same eye, 2 hdc in each eye around, join with sl st in
top of ch 2, turn (32). Fasten off.

•Rnd 9: join a contrast color with sl st in first st, ch 2, 4 hdc in same
st, (skip each of next 2 sts, 5 hdc in next st) around to last st, skip last
stitch, join and fasten off.

You may have to make another row of round 9 if it doesn't fit right...

Make two ties: chain 70 with a contrast color. Fasten off and weave 1 tie
through the stitches of round 7 or 8, depending on what type yarn and all..
try the slipper on and see...

Here is the tassel you can put on the tie... cut 12 strands of a contrast
color each 2 inches long and tie a separate strand of yarn around center of
all  the strands held together. Fold strands in half, tie another strand of
yarn around all the strands 1/4" from the fold. Trim ends to 3/4" and sew
each tassel to the ends of the ties.
